These Focal Sopra N°2s were originally sold by The Audio Store.

The Focal Sopra N°2 combines a number of key advantages: compactness, hi-fi sound and purity of design. Equipped with the best midrange ever developed by Focal, with NIC and TMD technologies, the Sopra N°2 pushes back the limits of reproduction in terms of sound transparency in a loudspeaker with very contained volume. The deliberately visible decoupling tips were designed for Sopra and manufactured by watchmaking specialists. The Beryllium tweeter is protected by a grille with a lattice pattern. The same pattern is repeated on the back plate of the midrange.

This Marantz SA-10 was originally purchased at The Audio Store.

If you want to enjoy over-the-air radio through your reference system with the best sound possible, you need a good tuner, or better yet, an outstanding tuner like the McIntosh MR88. It's been carefully crafted to deliver optimum sound from AM and FM radio stations. There are up to 60 presets available, or you can dial in stations the old-fashioned way with the gorgeous illuminated display and weighted tuning dial. The MR88 allows you to connect to HD Radio stations, which offer near-CD quality audio. They also provide artist and title information, which is displayed on the MR88's front panel. HD Radio also allows the tuner to blend digital and analog signals from HD stations to ensure the clearest possible sound.

This Illusion II was originally sold by The Audio Store.

The Krell Illusion II is the perfect centerpiece for a world class digital and analog audio system. Added to the normal selection of balanced and single- ended inputs are five digital inputs. The digital module features AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical digital inputs for use with streaming devices or other digital sources. The digital module supports up to 24 bit/192kHz LPCM. All digital signals are fed to an ESS Sabre DAC and then sent to Krell’s Current Mode, discrete, balanced analog circuitry. The Illusion II preamplifier is a dual monaural design with the left and right channels afforded their own power supply regulation and individual circuit boards. Oversized for a preamplifier, the power supply features a 95 VA transformer and 40,000 µF of capacitance giving it the ability to respond quickly to musical demands.

This Marantz SR8012 was originally sold by The Audio Store, and was traded in by a customer who upgraded to a new model.

The Marantz SR8012, at the time of its release, was Marantz's flagship home theater receiver. Made in Japan, it draws on features from Marantz's 2-channel reference series. The SR8012 combines high-end amplifier technology and advanced sound tuning with immersive video and surround sound, for an unparalleled home theater experience.

The SR8012 offers full support for 4K Ultra HD video, and even upscales HD and standard definition video to 4K resolution. Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, and Auro-3D put you in the middle of the action with realistic, multidimensional surround sound. Housed inside a copper-plated chassis, the SR8012's symmetrical monolithic amplifier design features eleven identical amplifier channels with a large, centrally mounted toroidal transformer. Advanced 32-bit digital-to-analog converters on all eleven channels ensure high-fidelity, low-distortion sound.

March 2005 vintage unit. Taken in trade from original owner who is in the process of downsizing. Good condition except for scratch on top cover. Taken to Krell for evaluation and maintenance work in February of 2023. Krell reset DCO bias, verified all tests were within specification and burned in the unit for one week.

The Krell KAV-3250 three channel amplifier, with a substantial 250 watt per channel output, delivers realistic and detailed sound reproduction.

Balanced Mono Power Amplifiers (pair - L&R)

March 1999 vintage Krell FPB-350Mc mono amps. Upgraded to “Mcx” version in 2004. Taken in trade from original owner who is downsizing. Good condition save for some small marks/scratches here and there due to age and to being moved around in customers system from time to time. Taken to Krell in March 2023 for over $2,000 of service/maintenance work including replacing all capacitors and the front blue LEDs. Service invoices are included. Includes original Krell packing materials.

Wireless Powered Speakers

These KEF LS50WII Metas were originally sold by The Audio Store, then traded back in by the customer who upgraded to a Naim amplifier and KEF LS50 Metas. They are in excellent condition.

The KEF LS50 Wireless II is the newer, upgraded version of KEF's popular LS50 Wireless. The LS50WIIs feature KEF's Metamaterial Absorption Technology (Meta) which absorbs high frequency vibrations resulting in cleaner, more detailed sound. The LS50WII also have increased built-in power, with 280 watts for each woofer and 100 watts for each tweeter.  The ability to wirelessly stream high resolution music directly to the speakers make the KEF LS50WII a convenient all-in-one package. The LS50WII also has multiple digital inputs, including HDMI eARC, and an analog input for a variety of connection options.

Dual Mono Integrated Amplifier with External Power Supply

The Musical Fidelity kW 500 is hybrid tube/solid state integrated amplifier with 500 watts per channel of power. The kW 500 has a tube preamplifier with a solid state output. Includes a built-in phono input. Each channel has two speaker connections. This integrated amplifier is one of only 500 ever produced by Musical Fidelity. It is in very good condition.

This Anthem P2 was recently sent to Anthem for testing and service/cleaning.

The Anthem P2 amplifier's design consists of two powerful, independent “monoblock” amplifiers. Each channel is self-contained on its own glass-epoxy circuit board and heatsink and benefits from an independent power supply. Conservatively rated, in a low-profile design, these low-impedance toroidal power supplies—one per amplifier channel—make no sacrifices when it comes to delivering a continuous supply of pure, clean low noise power. The P2 delivers 325 watts of power per channel.

3-Way Floorstanding Loudspeaker

Sold originally by The Audio Store, these KEF R700 speakers are in excellent condition.

The KEF R700 features a three-way design with two 6-1/2" woofers. KEF's patented Uni-Q technology places the speaker's 1" tweeter in the acoustic center of a 5" midrange driver. This concentric array allows sounds to originate from a single point source, making the ideal listening position much larger. The two 6-1/2" aluminum woofers are designed flatter than most woofer cones. That makes them stand out visually, but more importantly, they produce accurate and dynamic bass. Massive magnet structures and large aluminum voice coils help these woofers remain tight and musical at all volume levels.

Manual Belt-Drive Turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue Cartridge

 The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB is the upgraded version of the Debut Carbon, with a built-in Speed Box electronic speed control. This turntable has also had an Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge installed on the one-piece carbon fiber tonearm. This tonearm is much stiffer than typical aluminum tonearms, which reduces unwanted resonance that colors sound. The Debut Carbon Esprit SB also includes a heavy 12" precision-machined acrylic platter which reduces distracting resonance and lowers the turntable's noise floor for clearer, more dynamic sound. You'll hear tighter, punchier bass, greater midrange detail, and better spatial definition from your treasured vinyl collection.

Perfectly sized for most rooms, it combines new Decoupled Double Dome tweeters, Kevlar cones and Anti-Resonance Plugs, with the value for which the 600 Series is renowned. The Decoupled Double Dome tweeter found in the 685 – and the rest of the new 600 Series – is a technology taken straight from the award-winning CM10 speaker. The dual-layer design combines a thin aluminum dome for lightness and a thicker aluminum ring for rigidity. The result is absolutely stunning clarity and tonal purity. The tweeter is also decoupled from the main cabinet, kept physically separate in its own cavity with a ring of gel cushioning it from vibrations. This improves imaging and dispersion for a more natural, spacious treble.
